Just a few days out from initial reveal, Bandai Namco has published the character introduction trailers for both base forms of Goku and Vegeta, giving fans their first look at gameplay for the next DLC fighters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ.
Both videos were published earlier today on the various social media accounts for Bandai Namco. In them, players are able to get a clearer idea of the info that was put out a few days ago upon official reveal. Each trailer shows the intro, gameplay, and level three supers for both Goku and Vegeta.
Obviously intended to be callbacks to their original and nostalgic forms within the anime series, both fighters dim their traditional garb. In addition, they feature abilities and techniques from the time of their original meeting and the Frieza saga. This includes Goku’s Kaioken and Spirit Bomb attack’s, as well as Vegeta’s Galick Gun and Galaxy Breaker. Each of these can be seen in the short clips of footage.
Just two days ago, it was also confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ will release on September 28 in North America, with the game launching a day before in Japan. As previously reported, an online and offline BETA demo will be available on the hybrid console sometime in August.
