Nintendo has outlined the first new Amiibo set to release for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, being Ridley, Inkling, and Wolf — all launching simultaneously with the game itself.
Ridley, Inkling and Wolf are coming to the Super Smash Bros. series of #amiibo! These amiibo will arrive 12/7 and will retail for $15.99.

The information was made known earlier tonight via the official Nintendo Versus Twitter account. In the tweet, it is confirmed that the two newcomers will release along with Wolf, who returns after a 10 year hiatus from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. All of these will release on December 7, the same day as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and they will be priced at $15.99 MSRP.
Additionally, it is noted that characters included in the original Super Smash Bros. Amiibo line will also be seeing a rerelease “later this year” at which time they will return to their standard pricing of $12.99 MSRP. The other returning fighters, such as Snake, Young Link, Pichu, Pokemon Trainer, and Ice Climbers, will also be getting their own Amiibo releases, yet information on those has not been passed along yet.
