Those PC users who have been looking to start their journey in Monster Hunter: World for the greater part of six months need not wait much longer, as Capcom has announced that the Steam version will launch early next month.
It's official! @MonsterHunter: World PC version is coming to Steam on August 9th!

The long awaited news was shared early this morning by the official Capcom USA and Monster Hunter social media accounts. A short trailer was shown off presumably of footage from the new version of the smash hit title, along with a new Capcom Unity blog update link. At this page, users can find even more in-game screenshots, as well as the recommended and minimum specs requirements for Steam.
Speaking of Steam, the official marketplace page for Monster Hunter: World is also live, with pre-orders already available to those who wish to purchase early. Doing so will net players the exclusive Origin Armor set and Fair Wind Charm for use in-game once it all releases a month from now.
Initially, there was some confusion on whether or not the action title could achieve higher than 30 frames per second on PC, as the specs listed seem to not mention any higher. However, it has been discovered that 60 FPS is noted in one of the released screenshots, so the higher quality should be reachable with a good enough PC build.
