The footage was published to the official Bandai Namco Twitter account early this morning. Although plenty of screens and trailers have come out of Japan by this point, this is the first media corresponding to a Western release. While the trailer itself did not include many surprises, the decision to rebrand the game under a different title certainly is interesting, according to fans and insiders alike.
In terms of the video itself, first extended looks at gameplay for much of the roster is granted. While most of this focuses on the students, the final portion shows off the fighting styles of villains Stain and Tomura Shigaraki, as well as teachers Aizawa Shouta and All Might. In addition, a new “Sidekick System” is showcased for the first time, which seems to act as an assist system similar to other traditional fighters.
My Hero One’s Justice is still on schedule to launch sometime this year, although a specific release date is not known. The anime arena fighter will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
