One last time: Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have revealed that Hyrule Warriors will be releasing once more — as a definitive, complete edition for the Nintendo Switch.
It includes all content from the previous versions, plus new Link and #Zelda outfits based on Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The port of the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS title was announced early this morning as part of today’s surprise Nintendo Direct Mini. A trailer was shown featuring characters, maps, and elements from both the original Hyrule Warriors as well as Hyrule Warriors: Legends — showcasing that the Definitive Edition will combine both versions into a single package. This will offer players access to all 29 playable characters that eventually made up the original roster.
Exclusive to the fresh Switch version, however, will be new costumes for both Link and Zelda that style themselves after their forms in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In addition, it has been confirmed that Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will run at a locked 1080P resolution when played in TV mode, and offer split-screen multiplayer even when played in tabletop mode.
Although no concrete release date was given, the game has been tabbed with a release window of “Spring 2018”.
