This morning, the official Bandai Namco US Twitter page dropped a number of tweets with big news for the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ. An official release date is the first of two major updates.
First off, it was announced that the newest Dragon Ball game will have its own form of season pass. The FighterZ Pass adds eight additional characters along with their respective stamps, avatars and colors. The identities of these eight characters are to be announced at a later date.
Our speculation is that some of the fighters we’ve previously announced will be included on this list. Perhaps Nappa and Ginyu?
Second, an official release date was announced. After a very long wait, the fighting game finally has an international release date. And it’s even earlier than the Japan release date.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be coming to the US on January 26, for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Pre-orders are available on the game’s official page even.
