Hot off the heels of last week’s character and Nintendo Switch announcement, Arc System Works has revealed another set of three characters for BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.
The new additions to the roster were announced this morning as part of a trailer published to the official Arc System Works YouTube channel. Coming to the crossover tag system fighting game this time are fan-favorites Noel Vermillion from Blazblue, Chie Satonaka from Persona 4 Arena, and Waldstein from Under Night In-Birth. This brings the character count for the title up to a solid 13 unique fighters already.
As usual for the way Arc System Works is putting out these trailers, this one also included a tease for the next character introduction — set to drop in late November. However, it seems that the only real hint is the use of “ArcNama” near the end of the trailer, points towards the reveal coming during an official developer livestream.
Just a few days ago, we reported on a separate character reveal that also included news that BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is in development for Switch. While no release window aside from “2018” has been given yet, the 2D fighter is set to launch on PlayStation 4 and Steam as well.
