All 9 DLC Characters Revealed For Fire Emblem Warriors; Other Contents Confirmed

With Fire Emblem Warriors already having launched in Australia, details have spilled forth from the Nintendo eShop listing for the game’s DLC — revealing all future playable characters.

Although we reported on Nintendo’s outline of DLC plans for Warriors just a couple days ago, they’ve apparently blown the lid off of any and all surprises simultaneously with release. As previously stated, each content pack will contain three new characters and history mode maps, as well as additional costumes and weapons. Here are the fresh details on each:

Fire Emblem Fates

– New Playable Characters

Azura

Niles

Oboro

– New History Maps

Three new History Maps added, each with new stories featuring various characters.

– Five new Costumes

– 13 new Broken-Armor Models

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon

– New Playable Characters

Navarre

Minerva

Linde

– New History Maps

Three new History Maps added, each with new stories featuring various characters.

– Four new Costumes

– Six new Weapons

– Nine new Broken-Armor Models

Fire Emblem Awakening

– New Playable Characters

Owain

Tharja

Olivia

– New History Maps

Three new History Maps added, each with new stories featuring various characters.

– Three new Costumes

– Seven new Weapons

– Ten new Broken-Armor Models

While still sure to draw some complaints, this roster of additional characters looks to bring a bit of a mixture to the strategy brawler title. Characters with models already in-game like Niles, Oboro, Owain, and Navarre were shoe-ins to be confirmed at some point, but the others come as surprises ranging from somewhat expected (Tharja and Azura) to mildly stunning (Linde, Minerva, Olivia).

Regardless of how one might feel about the choices made for the roster so far, Fire Emblem Warriors looks set to receive support and remain a title of discussion well into 2018. All the horde-slashing RPG “waifu” madness is set to kick off when the game officially launches in North America on Nintendo Switch and 3DS tomorrow.
