Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition Coming December 5

With planned DLC on the way, Sony has announced the Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition — a complete package of the hit game with additional content set to launch in early December.

Revealed with an image of the initial boxart on the various official PlayStation Twitter accounts, the new edition will offer the best value deal on the acclaimed tile yet. Although the base game originally sold for $59.99 MSRP, the Complete Edition will bundle this, the upcoming Frozen Wilds DLC, and all of the materials included in the  Digital Deluxe Edition together for the lower price of $49.99 MSRP. The contents of the Digital Deluxe can be seen below.

Horizon Zero Dawn Digital Deluxe includes:

– Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 Game

– The Art of Horizon Zero Dawn Digital Art Book

– Exclusive PS4 Theme

– Carja Storm Ranger Outfit and Mighty Bow

– Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Culling Bow

– Banuk Traveller Pack

– Carja Trader Pack

– Nora Keeper Pack

Interestingly enough, the “complete” tag on this edition — as well as its existence at all — may hint towards The Frozen Wilds being the game of the year candidate’s only planned additional content at all. Announced back at this year’s E3, the newest campaign will introduce the main character Aloy to a new storyline, new characters, new machines, and a fresh new region to explore. Individually, this DLC is slated to release on November 7 and cost $19.99 MSRP, making the Complete Edition bundle that much more enticing for the holidays if players are willing to wait the extra month.

Horizon Zero Dawn initially released for the PlayStation 4 in North America on February 28.
