Things are about to get a little spoopy as the Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 event is officially set to kick off in exactly one week on October 10.
The nights grow cold
And monsters appear
A great evil gathers
And Halloween draws near… pic.twitter.com/98CXWqQ0gc

Announced as part of a short teaser clip posted to Twitter, the footage features a still captured animation of McCree and Reaper with what look to be new skins for each character. At the end of the video, the start date and logo for the event is shown, once again including Junkrat in his Dr. Junkenstein attire.
As fans could probably expect based on how Blizzard handled the recent Summer Games event, Halloween Terror will likely enable the classic “player versus environment” mode of Junkenstein’s Revenge, but with some unknown tweaks. In addition, users will have another opportunity to grab last year’s exclusive skins (Witch Mercy FTW) on top of any new variations introduced this year.
Overwatch’s previous event — Summer Games 2017 — debuted on August 8 and concluded on August 28. If that timeline is anything to go by, Halloween Terror should last until the end of the month.
