After almost a year since initial reveal on the system, Bethesda’s smash hit Skyrim will launch on the Nintendo Switch just over two months from now.

The release date was finally revealed during a short segment of last night’s Nintendo Direct. Since originally being teased as part of the Switch’s first ever trailer last November, the fantasy open world RPG — which many consider the greatest of all time — has been one of the system’s most looked forward to titles.
On top of containing all of the same content as previous versions, the Switch edition will feature Amiibo support that unlocks a costume and weapon set similar to that of Link from The Legend of Zelda. Specifically, the set includes a Breath of the Wild style tunic and pants, as well as the Master Sword and Hylian Shield.
Yesterday, we reported on two other games from developer Bethesda Softworks unveiled for the Switch, being DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
