It was announced today on the official Resident Evil Twitter page that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be getting its very own ‘special edition’ release.
The popular horror title released two DLC packs with Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Banned Footage Vol. 2, but a third has yet to be released in the upcoming End of Zoe. While the game’s Season Pass includes all three, so will the planned Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition, as part of the special release’s original cost.
End of Zoe explores the fate of Zoe, allowing players to find out what happens to her after she is presumably left in the mansion by Ethan Winters.
End of Zoe will be released alongside Gold Edition, as will the fourth, free DLC of Resident Evil 7. Not a Hero is the DLC that was announced as free for all players several months ago, regardless of what edition they might own.
Not a Hero brings back a familiar face in the form of Chris Redfield, who investigates the horrors of the tunnels beneath the mansion, directly after his team’s rescue of Ethan.
Resident Evil 7’s Gold Edition, End of Zoe and Not a Hero will all be released on December 12, for all current systems (PC, PS4 and Xbox One).
