4th wall breaking Travis Touchdown is finally back in the newly revealed title Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes from Suda51’s development team Grasshopper Manufacture, as well as a collection of indie studios.
After months of waiting since the Nintendo Switch reveal presentation back in January, Suda51’s latest endeavor was penultimate announcement to conclude today’s Nindies Showcase video presentation. While no gameplay was shown, a cinematic explaining the game’s intro was streamed.
After seven years since No More Heroes 2 was released on the Nintendo Wii to critical acclaim, this latest installment will be coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch in 2018, with a Nintendo of America tweet stating “later next year”. Apparently, the game is being developed with help from a collaboration of other indie developers as well, yet it is unknown which studios are helping and in what way.
Previously, Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51 have also worked on known titles such as Let It Die, Killer Is Dead, Lollipop Chainsaw, Sine Mora, Fatal Frame, and the previous two No More Heroes installments.
