Yesterday it was announced by Jackbox Games that The Jackbox Party Pack 1 and The Jackbox Party Pack 2 will be coming to Nintendo Switch.
The digital collections are scheduled for an August 17 release date and news of the upcoming release comes some few months after the release of The Jackbox Party Pack 3 on Switch.
Each The Jackbox Party Pack includes a series of multiplayer games, playable using one’s phone, tablet or computer as a controller. Game objectives include designing t-shirts, fooling other players and writing the ‘best’ answer to an open-ended question. Each Party Pack will be sold separately and each pack includes five games.
The Jackbox Party Pack 1 includes:
- You Don’t Know Jack 2015 (1-4 players)
- Fibbage XL (2-8 players)
- Drawful (3-8 players)
- Word Spud (2-8 players)
- Lie Swatter (1-100 players)
The Jackbox Party Pack 2 includes:
- Fibbage 2 (2-8 players)
- Earwax (3-8 players)
- Bidiots (3-6 players)
- Quiplash XL (3-8 players)
- Bomb Corps. (1-4 players)
In addition to the announcement of the release of Party Packs 1 and 2, Jackbox Games announced the release of The Jackbox Party Pack 4 on Switch. The final Jackbox Party Pack is set to release this fall, though an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
