After months of teasing and speculation, Team Meat has finally confirmed that the popular precision platformer Super Meat Boy is in development for the Nintendo Switch.
This confirmation tweet quickly followed a tweet published late last night by the official Team Meat twitter account, polling fans about a potential physical release for the game as well. If their question is anything to go by, any such physical edition sounds like it would be handled by developer and publisher Nicalis.
No release window or any other gameplay details have been discussed at this time. Super Meat Boy was originally released for Xbox 360 back in 2010, followed by releases on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Wii U in the several years since.
