A new form of Lycanroc — the 7th Generation Rock type wolf Pokémon — has been unveiled for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
Announced today as part of a Japanese Pokenchi variety-show broadcast, the variation is dubbed as Lycanroc’s “Dusk Form” in North America. No other details about the Pokémon have been given at this time.
Hints about a potential new Pokémon form were teased yesterday via the latest cover of Japanese magazine CoroCoro, showcasing an unrecognized shadowy silhouette. While many theorized this could have been a new eveolution of the popular Gen 1 Pokémon Eevee, some also guessed correctly at the new Lycanroc form.
It’s been confirmed that a new form of Lycanroc appears in the world of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon—Dusk Form. The colors of Dusk Form Lycanroc’s body and eyes differ from those of previously discovered Lycanroc, Midday Form and Midnight Form.
You can’t get Dusk Form Lycanroc on your team by ordinary methods, such as discovering the mysterious Pokémon in the wild.
So check back soon for news on how you can get Dusk Form Lycanroc, along with more details on the upcoming Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon games.
Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon are set to release for the Nintendo 3DS on November 17 in North America.
